Help me give my students snacks for our classroom snack basket. This will help sustain them after school as well as during.

My Project

Last year I added a snack bin in my classroom. Kids could take snacks as they needed, but the focus was on need.

I have a lot of kids who stay for after school sports and clubs and they like to grab snacks to help them sustain the energy they need to play after school.

Other kids just need the food because they forgot lunch or breakfast. This was a good way to keep kids awake and paying attention. My kids seem to do better when I had items available. With middle schoolers we had to talk about wants versus need since I teach over 100 kids daily. I try to keep snacks available daily, but must have help. Thank you for helping me sustain a snack basket.
