Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a great bunch of fourth graders that worked hard this school year to increase their reading and math skills. My students are considered ESOL learners as many of them are from various countries and speak various languages. Most of my students come from immigrant families, and many of them qualify for free or reduced-rate lunches. We were proud this year that after the impact of covid that we are able to finally see gains in reading and math. Many students increased in their reading and math levels.

As teachers we enjoy celebrating with our students with awards and certificates at the end of school year after all the hard work, gains and effort throughout the school year.

We will celebrate the gains that were made across all subjects. As we worked hard, we will now play hard.

Our 4th grade team will celebrate all students at our annual picnic with the requested treats. All students will benefit from the items as we will celebrate them for their gains in Reading and Math.

Many of our students have made a two year grade gain. They have increased their reading level and math levels. We are excited to be able to provide some delicious treats to our students.
