My Project
All of the students are amazing! They hunger for learning and they always amaze me with what they know and learn. They are amazing young adults and show me this every day.
Autism does not stop them, but sometimes an empty tummy does!
It helps so much to be able to provide a snack between breakfast and lunch (we don't have lunch until 1:40 pm). Sometimes, if food available and we see a need, we will send home snacks for the weekend. Students will focus and learn better when they aren't hungry! The plastic lidded tub is to store the snacks in so that we don't attract extra critters to the room.
