This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My class consists of 21 eager to learn third graders. My students are all unique in their learning styles and abilities, but each one is special to me. My students are always up for a challenge and try very hard to do their best. Our school is located in the Black Belt area, and it has been considered a Title I school. One hundred percent of the students at our school receive free lunch.
My students are full of energy and excited about learning.
My students get excited about the things we are learning every day. Although I have very few resources, I try to provide the best instructions and promote fun and exciting activities for all students. My students have a positive attitude toward learning. They are helpful and active members in the classroom.
My Project
Imagine trying to get a job done and you’re hungry, difficult isn’t it? Everyone knows what it is like to be hungry, it’s really difficult to focus. My students are excited about learning but need energy to do this.
These snacks will keep my students focused on learning and not on hunger.
Students sometimes need a brain break and these delicious and healthy snacks will help them get that extra boost to continue learning in class. The students will be able to choose their favorite snack and enjoy while getting ready for the next lesson to be presented. My students are more successful when their bellies are full of healthy snacks. These snacks will fuel their brains to be productive students in class.
