This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come to school hungry, with no water or snacks. Although they are provided with school lunch, its often not enough for growing middle schoolers to stay full all day. Students thrive better, both socially and academically when they are nourished and hydrated! I like to be able to provide my students with snacks and water when they are hungry/thirsty, or just feeling down!

My goal for this project is to be able to provide essentials for my students on a daily basis to help them thrive.
