My Project
As a low-income school, you see students coming into school without breakfast and shortly they will be going home and you never know what they might have at home. Allowing snack time at the end of the day allows me to know that the students are at least getting something to fill their bellies. Allowing the students to learn without having empty bellies allows students to better focus on their learning and enjoy the moments they are in without feeling a sense of "sickness". We would love to have available snacks in our room for the students!
