This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are English language learners who meet with me 3 times a week for extended learning time. By the time my students make it to my class, it is already 2: 45 and it has been a long while since they have eaten. Therefore they arrive famished and in need of a yummy snack to get them fueled and focused for more learning.

It is very important for my students to have something to snack on before we begin our tutoring session, so that their minds are ready to learn.
