This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Snacks give us energy and motivate us too! I want to have a selection of snacks available for students to grab, eat, and enjoy. I realize that some of my students are likely to arrive and they might not have had breakfast. Having a chance to grab a granola bar, a bag of air popped popcorn, Gardettos snack mix, Goldfish crackers, beef jerky, a fruit snack, or a zero sugar Gatorade might be a special treat that they can enjoy to give them energy till brunch or lunch time.

Snacks are a special treat, and having these snacks available is a good way for me to show my students that I care about their well being.

I want my students to have their basic needs met so that they are ready to learn. Having a positive attitude is important, and if a student is hungry in class he/she will struggle. Thank you for helping my students have healthy snacks that they can eat that will give them energy. Snacks help my students feel they are appreciated, and having snacks in class will be a special treat that they can enjoy when they need a pick me up.
