This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching is my passion. I am honored to be teaching 3rd-5th grade Special Education students. My students are unique in many different ways and require different supports to learn. The majority of our students are from low income families. At our school 70% of our students qualify to receive free or reduced pricelunch, so resources are very limited to families and even more scarce for special education students' families.

Snacks and incentives encourages the students to put forth effort, engage, and participate.

It may seem small to others however for my students to earn incentives as well as receive snacks brings them ultimate joy. Thanks in advance for all donations. The look on my students' faces when they see this project is funded will be priceless and the reason I get up every morning for work.
