My Students

Some of the students in my class are struggling readers and lack the resources needed to become fluent readers.

My students are eager learners who want to become better readers.

They love to read books but are struggling to find books that are on their level at our school. The resources for them to become successful are lacking and in order for them to be ready for third grade next year, our classroom needs more lower level books.

My Project

Students will use these books daily during their reading workshop time. The students will read independently and with partners. They will have more confidence reading with partners because they will be able to read the words in the books. My students will learn to read fluently and with expression using the books I am requesting.

By donating to my project my students will become confident readers and will be able to work more independently using texts that are on their level.

My students want to be able to read but are struggling and with your help and donations we will be able to get books they feel comfortable reading.
