Smiling Faces on Zoom

Help me give my students the best remote learning education possible. By having an additional screen I would be able to always see the students on Zoom while teaching them the curriculum they I need to follow.

My Students

I have been teaching at the same school for 24 years and wouldn't trade any of those years away. I work in a Title I school with Special Education students as well as ESL students. Math is often a subject that the students groan about. I try to make math fun and interesting everyday.

My students can be challenging, but who doesn't like a challenge.

There are some days when I'm not only a teacher but a mother, nurse, referee, and peace keeper. I love to use technology in the classroom with my students because it keeps them actively engaged in the lessons at hand. I believe in differientating my instruction to fit all of my students' needs.

My students come from low income backgrounds and can't ask their parents for help buying extra classroom materials. Buying groceries is far more important than school supplies. So I hate to ask. In most cases I have students with single parents or they are being raised by grandparents. In order for all of my students to be able to access the technology aspect of the class. I need to provide them with certain materials that cost money that they just don't have.

My Project

By having two screens I will be able to always see my students on Zoom while teaching them the curriculum that I need to cover. I can share my screen with my class and still be able to always see my students. I miss being able to interact with my kids in the classroom so being able to at least see their faces all of the time would make me very happy. I like to see their expressions while I am teaching. It think it is important for me to always be able to see them and for my students to always be able to see me.
