My Project

Hi amazing donors,

The specific items I am requesting for I already am sure make a huge difference in the learning of my students and I want to share with you the reason why.

A lot of my students originate from immigrant families new to this country. They do not have access to many resources like anyone else. I have noticed my students do not own a water bottle of their own. They depend on one single water dispenser that the school has available because the water fountains are out of service.

As a human being who values wellness, I understand how water is highly requested because it is a basic need. That is why I now have my own small water dispenser in my classroom for my students to use. That is why I am hoping we can be granted water bottles for my students to finally feel that they have their own and they can use it at home and bring it it to school as well as carry on field trips. This is a great way to keep my students in class focused without having to leave the classroom and spend a lot of time outside in the hallway waiting for water because unfortunately that is how they miss out on instruction time.
