This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Like any children, my students prefer to play rather than sitting for hours in a boring classroom.
I always try to encourage them to keep up with their good work by making a big deal on any holiday that is coming up to celebrate together.
For example, now that our 100th day of school is coming, we will be celebrating by having activities to count to 100 with different things, such decorating a T-shirt with 100 items, counting cereal, making 100 exercises, writing how they think they would look like when the turn 100 years old and other activities to encourage learning in a fun way.
By having the printer that I am requesting for this project, I will be able to print some memories to be shared throughout the year on our bulletin board, and to print some pictures for each one of them to take home.
