Second graders love to have their photograph taken. They also love having their pictures to share with each other. I have been taking monthly pictures of my students doing something special in the classroom for a number of years. I have always used a 35 millimeter camera and paid to have the pictures developed myself. It is time to get caught up with the newest technology! I would love to have a digital camera to keep in my classroom. The students could use it to photograph their projects. I could use it to showcase their groupwork. Most of all it could be used to give their families a glimpse of their children learning through our now available school website. It would be wonderful to be able to capture those special times and show the kids their pictures right away! My students also love to write letters. They would be very happy to write to the person who is kind enough to provide them with a camera and tell about the pictures they are taking. Thank you so much for helping these wonderful second graders enjoy school even more!
