it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is not up to date with incorporating technology in the classroom and my students with autism shouldn't be left behind. Since they have an intellectual disability, technology, and social play can assist them with reaching their learning goals. My students are a wonderful group of preschoolers who attend a low-income PreK-5 public school in California. My job is to make sure they receive the best education possible regardless of their learning ability.
My goal is to have students learn simple things like shapes, colors, numbers, and the alphabet by infusing music and technology into the curriculum.
Also, outside learning activities can assist with developing social play skills, and understanding how to play games will assist with following directions. I want the best for my students and I hope you will partner with me as I endeavor to help my students meet their educational goals.
My Project
The digital camera will be used for a variety of activities, including but not limited to, photographing my students in and outside of the classroom as they are engaged in discovery and learning activities. First, my students are active learners and I would like to document their progress as they strive to reach their IEP goals. Photographing them during center activity time or outside play time will allow me to capture stunning photographs that I can create posters or banners to be displayed in the classroom or even create an online photo gallery for their parents to see the development as well. The camera bag will be used to keep the camera safe when not in use and the SD card will be used to record the images that will be taken by the camera/photographer.
