Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Funky smells are common in older buildings, that includes ours. Help me change that with nice smelling air fresheners! I'd also like to display all of my students' awesome projects around the room with the clips and book shelves and show them that we can learn through games.

Something special about my students is that they are all multilingual!

Visuals are very important for newcomers. Because of the language barrier, these students rely on what they see in order to understand content and instructions better. The document camera will allow students to see projected work and understand instructions visually while I am explaining.

The goal for this project is that with these materials, my students will come into a welcoming classroom where they feel supported and represented.
