This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need new copies of the novel Frankenstein. The copies I have are well loved and need to be replaced. Our senior Advanced Placement English class reads this novel every year. The copies I have are over 10 years old. There really is nothing better than the smell and feel of a new novel.
Many of these students will be the first in their family to attend college.
It is important for them to have access to the materials they need. Students need to be exposed to different types of literature. Students who take this class are some of our best and brightest students. All of them are planning to attend college in the fall. Help me to provide them with the resources they need to pass the class and further their education.
