My Project
One of our social studies standards is to learn about the American Revolution, the causes and the people who shaped the revolution.
Students want fun and exciting ways to learn about history that does not come from a textbook.
The History Smasher series by Kate Messier offers students a chance to learn about history by debunking common misconceptions about some events related to the American Revolution. She does it in a style that is very engaging for students, one that will make them want to read about the history of our country.
