Thank you for deciding to read my proposal for craft materials for my pre-k classroom.
Our school is located in New York in a struggling, low income neighborhood. The parents are wonderful and are really working with us to provide a good education for their children.
We are in need of craft materials for my young students to complete projects. Children are natural born art enthusiasts and love to create beautiful works of art. It is my dream to give the children materials in class that will enrich their experience and the tools necessary to ignite creativity. It is so important to engage the children in hands-on activities in the early years, these are important years.
As a mother and a teacher, I have seen the importance of having children use art materials on a daily basis. It is crucial, and many children may not have these opportunities at home. The look of pride and accomplishment on a child's face after they complete a project is priceless. It may even spark a hidden talent for the arts.
Please help us in our endeavor to create unique masterpieces within our classroom.
The materials requested are collage crowns, collage frames, farm shapes, collage puppets, collage buttons and a craft used to make kaleidoscopes. Your contribution will make a big difference in the lives of 18 young children.
