My Students

Isn't it great to curl up with a good book and get lost in it? I have many wonderful books in my classroom library, but my students have no where to get comfortable and read them. Bean bag chairs would be a great addition to my reading center to give each child the optimum reading experience.

My wonderful students are third graders at a Title 1 school.

We serve students from high poverty families and many ESL students as well. These children have a thirst for knowledge and come to school every day ready to learn. These sweet "Smarties" are my pride and joy.

My Project

These bean bag chairs will provide my students with a comfortable place to read during center time and silent reading time. We have hard tile floors in our classrooms and the children get quite uncomfortable quickly. When my students are reading in these chairs they will be able to focus on comprehending what they are reading, instead of how sore their back is!

My students and I would be so grateful if you would donate to our project.

Every day that those wonderful children sit in their bean bag chairs they will get lost in their favorite book and enjoy every moment of it. Please help me give them the gift of reading comfortably. Thank you!!
