My students need the stability balls and stack stools to better function during classroom work. The document camera is to help project assignments onto the board. The rest are supplies needed for my classroom.

My Students
Each day I greet my students at the door to give hugs, high fives, or fist bumps - depending on the needs of each child. Each student comes in with a variety of needs.. Some who need to tell me how their morning went or what happened the night before. While others come in quiet & reserved... My students range in different ability levels from being able to complete assignments on their own to needing supportive help to needing everything to be read to them for each subject.
Each students has a new personality for me to try and bring out their uniqueness within the class.
Each has a gift that will make this classroom complete - I just have to guide them in finding their gifts!
Throughout the day, kids rotate in and out of my classroom, so that I can teach them all Social Studies. Each new class brings different challenges, but I'm learning to listen to them and their needs.
My Project
Third grade has been an excitingly new challenge from TK teacher, but I am in dire need of some classroom essentials! The document camera will allow me to teach subject material off of worksheets with the students being able to see how to correctly answer the problems. Currently, I put the worksheet on the whiteboard and write on it, but the students are unable to see the changes I am making. I then try and write out the problems or questions on the whiteboard, but this takes time.
Flexible seating has become one of the greatest assets to my classroom by allowing students to feel comfortable in completing their work.
These flexible seating options would provide alternative options to what is already offered in my classroom and meet the needs of some of my children with behavior and sensory needs. More options would allow some to have more success at different seating options.
The flashlights will be used for "Flashlight Fridays" to give students the opportunity to have "fun" while reading!! The students work hard all week and come to school on Fridays to be tested over various skills from the previous weeks. By allowing the students to use flashlights in the classroom on Fridays, they can learn to enjoy reading all the while still learning!!
The dictionaries would be used for various reading and writing activities, but also for a particular spelling activity. Students have been unable to complete part of the spelling BINGO worksheet due to having only 2, very old, old dictionaries!
These supplies, though each might seem insignificant, would be a huge asset to these students.
