My Project
Hello. We are a Title I school with students from different backgrounds. They are low-income and have very limited resources. We have been working with science and health. CKLA is our reading program that incorporates these subjects. We are learning about the different systems in the human body. The nice part of the Apple watch is that it monitors heart rates and has a health app. The students will use the Apple watch in small groups where students will look at each other's heart rates before and after physical activity. As well as when concentrating on doing a science experiment. This is how students will utilize the apple watch and incorporate technology into STEAM.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
