Smart Spot Table

My students need a table where they can sit on the ground. This table is wonderful because it allows students to sit criss-cross on the ground, while still being able to reach the surface to write.

My Students

My kindergartners are growing in the same, small rural community where I grew up, inside the same four walls that made me a teacher. I have a classroom full of some of the best, kindest, bravest, hard workers, who have a love for learning. We live in a rural area where many of my students face so many challenges before they even come to school; yet each and every one of my 21 students come into our room every day ready to grow their minds and hearts. This year, we are working hard to become a team, be kind, and grow into life-long learners. I love that I have the future America in my classroom and I want to give them the skills and tools they need to be successful.

My Project

When I work from home, you can find me sitting criss-cross on the ground. This table would allow for my students to do the same. They will be able to sit on the ground while still having a big enough work space to complete projects. My kindergartners love being able to choose a smart spot and this table is another awesome option to see where they work best! I love how this table is big enough to fit up to six students at a time, allowing more students their first choice in a smart spot. The legs are adjustable which will make an easy transition for growing students!
