My Project
We are a high poverty, low income school. We are a Pre-K to 5th grade school where the entire student body is able to receive free breakfast and lunch daily. It can be a long day at school, I would like to help that with a snack break daily for my students.
A daily snack will allow my students a brain break during the long day at school.
For some of my students the meals they receive at school are the only meals they will eat all day. I want to ensure they are fed and are healthy while in my care. We have a snack time in class where students are supposed to bring their own snack but many are not bringing one in anymore.
