My Project
My students love learning! Watching them *make connections* during a cozy carpet read aloud brings a twinkle to my eyes. Listening to them talk about their *growing and changing understanding* of a concept tickles my ears.
It's SMART to read a variety of BOOKS on the same topic because it helps students build knowledge!
Last school year, our school adopted a new reading program, which gives access to almost every resource imaginable, except for the recommended trade books. Funding for this project will purchase some of these thematic books and bins to expand and organize my existing classroom library. I am excited to create more reading resources for each unit of study. Please help spread some love and literacy to my students!
