Smart Board!

Help me give my students a smart white board so that we can learn about works of art in the detail and resolution they deserve!

My Project

Everyday my middle and high school students discuss a work of art at the beginning of class. Currently, I am using the overhead projector to display the works of art, but the projector doesn't allow for the proper detail and lighting of them. The students apply the elements of art, and principles of design to the works of art that we discuss. A smart board would allow the students to see the works of art in much greater detail and resolution, and aid in our daily discussions.

There are many times in class when I have to describe a part of a painting because it won't be visible on the projected image.

The elementary students would also benefit from a smart board. We could learn concepts of art through interactive activities that I am unable to provide with my current projector. I also have many videos and presentations that I would like to use in class, but don't because of the low quality that my projector provides. I believe a smart board would greatly enrich my art classroom.
