My Project

Welcome to our fourth-grade classroom!

I teach in a Title I school where many of my students benefit from extra academic, behavioral, and organizational support.

As a special education teacher in a co-taught classroom, my goal is to create an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and confident enough to take academic risks.

Many of my students struggle with executive functioning skills such as organization, staying on task, following directions, and managing materials. Small classroom tools make a tremendous difference in helping our days run smoothly so we can spend more time learning and less time searching for supplies or waiting for directions.

This project will help transform our classroom into an organized, student-friendly space that encourages independence, reduces distractions, and supports positive classroom routines. When students know where materials belong and classroom systems are easy to follow, they are able to focus on what matters most—learning.

Our students will use these supplies every single day.

Organization drawers, rolling carts, folders, zipper pouches, and desktop organizers will help students keep their learning materials organized and easily accessible. Classroom management tools like a wireless doorbell, microphone, and wall clock will improve transitions, ensure students can hear directions clearly, and help everyone stay on schedule.

A thermal label printer and stickers will allow us to quickly create visual labels, organize learning centers, identify student materials, and reinforce positive behaviors. Bulletin board letters will help us create engaging displays that celebrate student learning and make important information easy to find. Teacher stamps will provide quick, positive feedback that motivates students and celebrates their hard work.

Together, these materials will help create a classroom where students can focus on learning instead of worrying about where materials belong or missing important directions.
