Additional after school and extra curricular activities provide great opportunities for students.
Help my students form their own official chess club!
Over the last several months, several students have expressed interest in being a part of an after school chess program. Currently our resources are limited with a few low quality boards and utilizing web based match making on the smart board.
The requested boards will allow my players to use and feel a "real" board and would increase membership. The roll-up board will be used for travelling competitions in the future. This will provide competitive and social opportunities for many students that are not traditionally involved in extra curricular activities.
