We are a Title 1 school which means that our students come from low income families. Sometimes our students need supplies that we cannot afford.
Our school is known around town as the land of the little people.
There are over 600 students from PreK to 2nd grade. They are the sweetest group of students who are full of energy and very eager to learn about the world around them. I love being able to invest in their lives and love on them.
At the risk of sounding ironic, we live in the technology age and our students need to learn how to correctly use a computer.
The students need small mice for their small hands.
They love getting on the computers but they get easily frustrated with the computer mice. The mice are too big for their hands and they cannot move the mice or click on items on the computer. Having child sized computer mice for the students to use will allow them to learn how to properly use the computer without getting frustrated. Proper use of the computer will allow them to be successful in the future.
