It's never to early to teach about the magnetic field of the universe. I want to introduce my 18 pre-kindergarten students to magnetic construction materials. I also would like to let them explore snap and play blocks and people.
I teach pre-k in a very large, urban school in New York City. Every child receives free-lunch in our school. The parents are often struggling to make ends meet and are not likely to spend many funds on educational materials.
I am submitting a proposal for five items from Childcraft and ABC School Supply. A Magnet Express Maze is a good activity for children to explore the power of magnets. The first player to get five balls into the center wins. There are no parts to lose; all magnetic balls are inside the game. Magnetic Building Shapes is a 54 piece construction set that comes with a magnetic playboard.
Magneatos are extra large toys that are designed to introduce children to magnetism and building.
It is a wonderful toy that will help develop problem solving, visual tracking and logical thinking skills.
Snap and Play blocks and people are a good way for children to construct buildings, vehicles and groups of people. It is good for their fine motor skills and will reinforce important math concepts. Children learn best when they are involved in super-engaging activities.
