My Project

Working as a school-based occupational therapist, it is my job to assist students participating in what they need to do in order to promote physical health, mental health, and well-being in the school environment. Most of my students have visual motor, visual perceptual, fine motor, executive functioning, or hand strength difficulties causing it to be more challenging for them to perform the meaningful activities (occupations) required for their role as a student.

It is my goal to provide them with materials and activities to improve their skills to function in a school environment.

With items such as jigsaw puzzles, peg boards, bracelet making kits, tweezers, and graded pinch exercisers, they can improve their physical strength, motor skills, and visual skills to perform school related activities.

My students are so easy to love and I want to do anything and everything possible to provide them with all the equipment they need to make their school-based occupational therapy experience constructive and adequate.
