This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Science class is an exciting part of the day! My students work together to build on their prior knowledge as they explore, observe, and collect data to understand the world around them.
My 6th graders are budding scientists!
However, they need a space where they can meet with me or my co-teachers for small group support. Our school serves a plethora of diverse learners, many who come from low-income households, have learning disabilities, or have only recently moved to the United States. This table will serve as a meeting space for students who need more targeted, one-on-one support and will allow me to help my scientists be successful!
