My Project
All students deserve an opportunity to be helped and reach their academic goals. Sometimes regular class work can be hard and that's where small groups come into play. Small groups are an opportunity where I pull students' sides and give them the extra care, they need to be able to fill those academic gaps so that they can meet their goals. To do so there are certain materials I need.
The board games I selected allow me to teach and check reading comprehension during play which resonated with students deeply.
Items such as a whisper phone are amazing when we students are asked to read to themselves so that we can continue building our reading skills. Other items such as dice, and timers are great as teaching aids to create activities that are fun and educational in the classroom.
Small groups are necessary in a classroom to reach all students and these materials would be wonderful to have to help my students reach their academic goals for the school year. Please make a difference in our classroom by helping us receive everything that we need for our small groups.
