My students need a horseshoe table for small group instruction, group collaboration, and projects.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Connecting Community, Unity and Academics is the theme at Orangefield ISD. Hurricane Harvey swept through our community in August 2017. I have been amazed at how our community has been united through the devastation caused by the flooding. So many of our students lost everything they had.
Kids are resilient, but the Bobcats at OISD are the strongest kids I know.
Your help with this project will help these kids continue on the path to normalcy as we continue to rebuild what we've lost.
Our learning environment would definitely benefit with the addition of a horseshoe table and chairs. I chose this resource with the hopes that our classroom could then have a dedicated space conducive to small group learning.
Small group instruction is an integral part of our classroom learning.
From individual and small group remediation to group collaboration, small groups are essential. Currently, my students work with me each day in some type of small groups and are having to do so on the floor. While we are able to get the job done successfully, I know that it is not an ideal environment for the students. With your help, a horseshoe table and chair would create an even better small group environment.
