My students need an area with a table to do small group work where they can learn together and be guided by the teacher.

My Students

This year I have a group of 27 enthusiastic and diverse first graders of all different abilities. They are always eager to do their best, and as their teacher I strive to give them all the materials necessary to reach all their goals.

It is my goal as a teacher to help students believe in themselves and their abilities, it is crucial to their success.

I want them to grow as students, not just academically, but personally and socially as well.

These students deserve the best!

My Project

Small group work makes a big difference. All of the materials I am requesting will make a huge impact on all of my students. I already know how I am going to use them on a daily basis.

These material will be a great addition to my classroom.

The small table will give my students a space to work cooperatively with their peers. It will also be a great area to do guided reading, math enrichment groups, as well as any other small group work that will help students reach their goals. It will give me a space to catch students up on any work missed when absent or out for services.

The bands will help those children who need to move while learning without distracting other students.

All of the laminating materials will allow my students to use resources more than once during the small group sessions, as well as during whole class instruction.
