My students need color markers, a small group table and integer dice.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Swyers's classroom raised $435
This project is fully funded
My Students
These students are in 6th grade and go to a Title I school. The entire school receives free lunch, and most of the families come from inner-city backgrounds.
Being a Title I school, funding for materials can be very limited, so I want to be able to provide my team with the best resources to help them reach their full potential.
These students work hard and are extremely motivated. I want them to feel successful in how they are performing.
My Project
The materials I am asking for will help my students tremendously for small groups and differentiated instruction. Many of my students come to me below grade level and having a small group table will make it easy for me to pull small groups and help fill in the gaps that my students are experiencing as they join my classroom.
I want my students to have the proper experience of small groups in my classroom and having this table will help dramatically.
I want to help the underdog because so many times, our "underperforming " students are just overlooked.
I want to give these students the opportunity to feel successful at math, a feeling many of my students have never felt before.
The markers and dice will help with many of the activities I have planned for them in order to be successful in the content area.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look over this project! I promise you won't regret helping these students out!
