Small Group Tables for Little Learners

Help me give my students the best small group instruction learning experience with new tables for our group time. These tables are used for small group reading and small group math.

My Project

My first graders are enthusiastic, curious learners who thrive when they receive focused, small group instruction. Whether it's learning to read, building math skills, or exploring new ideas together, small group time is when some of the most powerful learning happens.

Horseshoe tables are essential for small group learning.

Right now, our classroom lacks the proper furniture to support these moments. We’re in need of 2 horseshoe-shaped tables that will allow me to work closely with students in a way that supports eye contact, engagement, and meaningful instruction. These tables are specifically designed for small group learning and would help ensure each child gets the attention they need in a comfortable, organized setting.

With these tables, I’ll be able to:

Work with 4–6 students at a time in a way that keeps everyone connected and focused

Provide targeted instruction in reading, writing, and math

Create a welcoming space for collaborative learning, peer support, and differentiated teaching
