This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students and I would love to have a white, dry erase top, small group work table. This table would be utilized for our small group reading, math, and writing instruction. It allows students to actively participate by writing and drawing directly on the table surface. This hands-on approach makes learning interactive and enjoyable, fostering creativity and collaboration among peers. This table will be crucial for tier 2 interventions, providing a dedicated space for targeted support and personalized instruction.

The dry erase table will transform our small group sessions.

By using the dry erase table, students will not only deepen their understanding of math concepts through visual and tactile learning but also enhance their communication skills as they explain their thought processes to each other.

This active engagement will boost their confidence and academic performance. The collaborative nature of the table will foster a supportive classroom environment where students can learn from one another and work together to solve problems.
