This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a very diverse group of students, ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. Many of them are English Language Learners. As the Reading Specialist in my building many of my students enter the classroom looking for a chance to improve their reading skills and comprehension. I have a very inviting room that encourages young readers to learn to love books. They Benefit from and enjoy learning in a small group setting.

"The more that you read, the more things you will know; The more that you learn, the more places you'll go".

I really enjoy helping my students learn to love Reading, And showing them that reading can take them places that they never knew existed.

My Project

As a Reading Specialist my students need a flexible and a comfortable setting to read and to learn. The white board easel will make our reading groups more efficient, as we will be able to move the easel to specific areas in the room. The set of four answer buzzers will make class time a fun and an enjoyable experience.

My students also learn better in a setting where they can be comfortable and choose their seating options.

Utilizing the stackable chairs will allow them the choice of a regular chair or a comfortable padded stool. Since these stools are stackable, they will fit nicely in our small classroom.
