Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager for new ways to learn to write and spell. By using different types of tools - like Magna Doodle and individual white boards - students are able to access letter formation, phonetic spelling, and sight word practice in multiple ways to keep them engaged and having fun while learning!
Traditional memorization or pencil and paper methods are not effective alone for most active young children - that's why it is so important to utilize different methods - particularly in small groups - to help Kindergarten students build the fine motor and phonetic skills to write and spell effectively!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
