My Project

My students need a horseshoe-shaped table where classroom teachers can lead small groups. As they get ready for the upcoming transition to Kindergarten, teachers in our classroom need a place where we can lead focused academic learning experiences to prepare students for the work they will do in the upcoming year.

It is impossible to learn if you can't see the materials and don't have space to work.

Our students are cramped at our small rectangular tables, and teachers are forced to turn materials in multiple directions to make sure that students sitting next to them, across from them, and to the side are able to see. If we were able to sit our students across and around us all together at a small group table, it would make sharing materials, doing academic learning, and even engaging in discovery and enrichment activities possible.
