Small Group Needs

Help me give my students an easel and book baggies for Math and Literacy small group lessons.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom.

My students are an amazing group of third graders who are eager to learn and explore.

They are living a growth-mindset philosophy, embracing the new learning experiences and challenges and are ready to stretch and grow their brain muscle. Children are like sponges, ready to soak up everything. It is my pleasure and duty to help shape their precious minds to love learning and be successful.

My Project

Small group instruction is a daily necessity. In order to complete these groups successfully I am in need of a whiteboard. This whiteboard will be used to present anchor charts and for the students and I to write on when solving problems and showing our work. Currently, we use the best which is not always visible to all students working within the group. A whiteboard near our workspace will help to keep students engaged in the lessons.

No longer would we have to stretch and look across the room for anchor charts related to our group.

Students are also in need of book baggies in order to help keep their materials.As students are trying to come to group it is easier if they are able to keep their materials in a durable bag. Students will travel from home and around the school with this bag.
