Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students I work with have a range of intellectual levels and just lectures alone are not enough to engage them in math instruction. In small groups, we work on key math skills which are reinforced through hands on activites and games. Math manipulative, games, supplies and other materials will provide them intervention time that is engaging, fun, and builds a love for math.
With these materials, I will be able to ensure students are performing at their best, fully engaged, and are having fun!
I want to make my groups something students look forward to by providing them peace of mind, enjoyment, and organization. These supplies would be greatly appreciated and have a positive effect on my students.
