Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is very important for the implementation of small reading group rotations and reading intervention. These materials will enhance overall classroom organization and transitions between small group activities. While having to sit a lot in class the bouncy bands help keeps students engaged while being able to move. This helps students focus during small group work and allows myself to work with a smaller group of students while other students work at centers at their desk which include the use of Magna Tiles, headphones and holders for a library area which the bookshelves will be used for.

I have found my students thrive off of small group learning. It can be difficult to run small group learning alone in a classroom so the materials on my list will help my students be productive during this time whether they are meeting with me or working independently!
