Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a very diverse group of hardworking students. I am trying to implement routine systems to help our guided learning and group STEM activities so our time can be productive with the least amount of distractions. With the restaurant queuing system, students will know when I need them to come work with me while also not being called out verbally and it will be discreetly. I will also be using the recorded buttons so students can record themselves providing directions, translations or their solutions to reinforce their learning. Students use markers and Post-its to track their coding steps with their robots. It is one of their favorite fun Friday activities that we consistently need to replenish the supplies.

It is the little things that make management flow flawlessly and using these basic tools will help set my students up for success.
