Small Group Learning in Jr. High!

Help me give my students the best reading instruction in a Jr. High setting. We are working in small book clubs and need a place to meet and learn as a group.

My Students

We are readers and thinkers. My students are excited to explore the world and new ideas through reading. When we stop reading our books and there is a shout of "No! I need to know what happens!" it shows that even my reluctant readers are engaged with reading. They love getting involved with a great book!

My Project

My students will benefit from small group instruction with these supplies and products. Being able to meet as a small group to discuss book club books and engage in small group instruction will benefit my students as we progress through reading and understanding.

6th grade students still benefit from small group learning in the Jr High School setting.

Having a kidney table for groups and a mobile white board will allow me to create individualized learning for my students. These items will also allow me to meet with students in smaller groups to ensure understanding of the work we are engaging in. It is my goal to build strong, confident readers.
