Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 2nd graders enjoy learning. Every day, they come to the classroom with smiles on their faces and are ready to learn. I want to be able to provide my students more supplies that they can use in the classroom. The materials that I am requesting with this donation will encourage and motivate my students to be engaged in their learning throughout the day.
Small groups give students opportunities to reinforce their learning.
The Splash and Dominoes Math games and the Touch Read Sentence Match are materials my students can use independently in small groups. The class set whiteboards will give my students flexibility to move around the classroom to do their work. The TPT give cards will allow me to purchase worksheets and activities that students can use in school and at home.
The outdoor game materials, such as the juggling scarves, wooden egg and spoon, and race bands, will be used during physical activity, which will help my students be active and get fun brain break during the day. After my students release their energy during PE, they come back in the classroom more motivated and focused.
