My Project
Hello! I will be planning on using the materials listed in order to utilize increased small group instruction in order to prepare my students for their upcoming testing. These materials will make the small group instruction more comfortable for students while also making it much easier to attend to our specific target goals. We will need these materials to better prepare for state testing by having our students work in specially tiered groups to allow beyond students to work on challenging assignments while also being able to provide differentiated instructions to our struggling learners. The carpet and the trays will be used for small group instruction. We do currently have a carpet in the classroom but it is way too small and groups are crowded when they meet and it's not optimal for instruction. We currently only have one working pencil sharper, so some students have to walk across the classroom to sharpen their pencils. Having pencil sharpeners at each small group station keeps them in their areas more frequently. The bins and chart will help keep tier 2 manipulatives organized.
