I have a very diverse classroom of learners this year. I have students with special needs, students who are English Language Learners, and some students who have never experienced school before. Each student in my classroom comes with a unique ability level and small group is the best way to meet their needs, both academically and socially.
By providing a space for small group materials my students can gain independence and confidence when selecting small group activities.
Having a space an additional tools will help small group time to run more efficiently in the classroom. This would help to maximize the potential for this limited but crucial times during our school day.
