This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students learn best in small groups. I teach my math, reading, and writing lessons primarily in small groups at my teacher table. Sturdy stools are an absolute necessity.
My hope is to have current concepts hanging on the whiteboard and previous concepts posted throughout the room.
This would enable students who are not working at my small group table to consult the anchor charts when they need a refresher on a variety of topics. The students will learn self-reliance and how to work collaboratively when I am not available.
